Get Rich Quick To Lose Money Fast

I always say that investing isn't rocket science, but it also isn't as simple and foolproof as ads like these would have you believe. Like all things in life, something that appears too good to be true almost always is too good to be true. The companies that place these ads are trying to attract investors who don't want to do their homework but want to get in on the "smart money." The true smart money, however, focuses on long-term investments and doesn't tout short-term wins or predict double-digit annual returns. Yes, a 2550% gain is possible -- but it's extremely rare, extremely risky, and usually occurs due to dumb luck. And before you click these kinds of links, ask yourself why someone who can deliver 2550% gains would bother writing a newsletter. The answer is simple, the genius behind the newsletter makes far more money from gullible subscribers than he/she does from investing.

So here's a tip you can live with -- stay away from tipsters like these.
